Get Help: Requesting Services
The African Community Center (ACC) is a refugee resettlement agency based in Denver, Colorado. We offer services and programs to refugees and immigrants rebuilding their lives in Colorado.
You may be eligible for our services if you have been in the United States for less than 5 years and have one of the following immigration statuses:
Refugee
Asylee*
Humanitarian Parole**
Special Immigrant Visa (SIV)
Temporary Protected Status (TPS)
*Asylee is the term used in the U.S. for people who have been granted asylum. If you have been granted asylum in the U.S., you are eligible for refugee services. Unfortunately, individuals with pending asylum cases are not eligible for services until they are granted asylum.
**If you are a Humanitarian Parolee from Ukraine, Cuba, or Haiti, you are eligible for services. Unfortunately, we cannot serve Humanitarian Parolees from Venezuela and Nicaragua at this time.
How to Request Services from ACC
If you are a Cuban Entrant/Humanitarian Parolee, please visit our office during the following walk-in hours to open a case with ACC:
Thursdays from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm every
All other individuals should email tania@acc-den.org to schedule an appointment or visit our office during the following walk-in hours:
Mondays from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Thursdays from 9:00 am -3:00 pm
